About the event

Please join us for a glittering night-time trail at Kew Gardens. The magical light display includes a garden of fire, Tunnel of Lights, sparkling giant snowflakes, Santa’s Snowflake Grotto and much more, making it the perfect Christmas experience.

As you make your way around the trail, you’ll be tempted by the aroma of roasting chestnuts, toasting marshmallows, and another traditional fayre.

Now in its sixth year, our 2018 winter trail will be bigger than ever before, with over a million twinkling pea-lights and thousands of laser beams. Walk under welcoming arches into a world festooned with seasonal cheer and wander beneath unique tree canopies drenched in Christmas colour.

Price: £19.50 plus paypal fees.

The trail is very popular and entry is by timed ticket, so sign up as soon as possible do that we can secure the date and entry time.

Meeting point & time: Victoria Gate Entrance at 7.pm for 7:30 entry. If you are there any later than that you will not be able to go in.

Getting there:

By tube: Kew Gardens Station (District Line - Richmond branch and London Overground) is the closest London Underground station, and is in zone 3.

By train: Train services (South West Trains) from Waterloo, via Vauxhall and Clapham Junction, stop at Kew Bridge Station. For more information call 08457 484950. From Kew Bridge station it is a 15-minute walk (1.6km) to Victoria Gate.

What to bring and wear

Please be aware that this event is held outdoors and there are no covered areas during the walk, so do ensure you have sufficient warm and waterproof clothing. In some areas the lighting will be low level as this is part of the experience. We do encourage visitors to bring along a torch in case of an emergency – this should not be used unless it is necessary.

Cancellations:

Please note that unless the trip is cancelled the payments are non-refundable as the costs need to be paid in advance. However, you may be able to sell your place to your friends or other group members
