Edinburgh Festival - Fringe Adventure
Time & Location
About the event
Please join Curious Kat’s Adventure Club for the world-famous Fringe Festival in Edinburgh one of the UK's most beautiful cities.
The cobbled streets of the Old Town lead you past mysterious gothic buildings, up to the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, the center piece of the city. Below the Castle’s rocky pinnacle lies the New Town to the north with its 200 year old Georgian splendour.
During the festival the city really comes to life, buzzing with street performers, visitors and night life. More about the festival at the end of the event description. The trip I prepared for you tries to capture the essence of it all, leaving you with a bit of free time to explore and hang out about the town.

Plan of the trip
Meet at King`s Cross Station
19:30- 23:31 Travel to Edinburgh together by train.
Friday night we'll just get a good nights rest to be ready for an adventure packed day on Saturday.
After breakfast: a guided walking tour of the city. After the tour we'll grab lunch and wander around, checking out the street performers.
After that we'll go to a comedy show and then lunch in the city, and perhaps check out the famous Scottish haggis?
In the evening we have a special treat - We'll join a Ceilidh (a traditional Gaelic social gathering, involving playing Gaelic folk music and dancing). We'll arrive there around 7:30 and make sure we have a couple of drinks before the madness starts at 9pm and the bands (Flaming Heather, HLI, Scott Leslie, Willie Fraser) start playing live music.
Afterward, we'll continue to party in the town!
We'll take it easy, see a show, have a coffee somewhere in the main street, and just hang out in the midst of the festival, soaking in the buzz and bustle of the Fringe.
