Hampstead Heath is a wonderfully varied collection of natural habitat, historical features, beautiful views, landscapes, peaceful woods and picturesque views at Viaduct Bridge, as well as Hampstead Grove.
Hampstead is London’s secret village. Up a hill outside the city center, the neighborhood is full of narrow lanes and hidden steps. Known for its literary heritage—everyone from Robert Louis Stevenson to John Keats has called this area home—locals love it for the details that add charm to the streets.
Distance: 6 miles ( 9.7 km)
Walking conditions: hilly in places, all routes generally follow main paths and should be easy.
Meeting point: Parliament Cafe at 10.30AM ( start and end of the walk).
Price: £5 ( plus PayPal fee).
