Our walk begins at CHIPSTEAD STATION and ends at COULSDON SOUTH station (you can ask when you buy the train ticket what's the best route, e.g. 2 singles or a return to Chipstead, both stations are about 2 -2 1/2 miles from each other)
We cross idyllic Surrey countryside, crossing farms, fields of wheat and barley, through woodlands and past the towns of Banstead and Coulsdon.
We then arrive at the Lavender Farm where we spend an hour for lunch and visit the Lavender fields which are in full bloom. This is quite a sight, both in terms of sight and smell
